Good morning, Greeley.

Greeley-Evans School District Superintendent Deirdre Pilch was named Colorado Superintendent of the Year by school executives after serving since 2015.

The school board extended her contract until June 30, 2030—voted unanimously on Oct. 27 and approving an annual salary of $358,528 for next fiscal year.

Officials met late last week at the annual Town and County meeting to review Weld County's rising population driven by migration that helped counter a drop in birth rates.

Colorado State Demographer Kate Watkins presented the latest figures to local leaders & Greeley Mayor John Gates as U.S. Rep. Gabe Evans promoted plans to ease energy regulations.

A contest is offering a Christmas getaway package to Gaylord Rockies for a family of four with two-night accommodations, event admission, and a nightly resort credit.

The contest ends November 19 and the package is valid from November 22 to January 1—providing a holiday opportunity for families.

Former Denver Broncos coaches Mike Shanahan and Dan Reeves are among nine semifinalists in the coaching category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Shanahan won 146 games and two Super Bowls in 14 seasons, and Reeves led the team to three Super Bowl appearances and five AFC West titles — the Coach Blue-Ribbon Committee will soon select one candidate for the next class.
