- ➤ The City of Greeley, The Water Valley Company and PCL Construction held a groundbreaking ceremony today on the 300-acre West Greeley Entertainment District called Catalyst to start work on new roads—utilities and water systems. The project will add a sports arena, an indoor water park, a conference hotel and nearby neighborhoods that are expected to create jobs and boost local business in the future. City of Greeley
- ➤ Colorado law enforcement will ramp up patrols in Weld County around Oktobrewfest—featuring craft beers, food, live music and more—this weekend to deter impaired driving; the Colorado State Patrol will work with the Weld County Sheriff's Office to increase patrols near the festival on Saturday. 1310 KFKA
