Here's your local news at a glance for Tuesday, the 18th of August.
Good morning, Greeley.
🏛️ Government
Greeley officials are working to curtail train horn sounds along the eastern city edge by upgrading safety features at 13th and 8th (the project may cost up to $2 million) to create a quiet zone for local residents (and businesses that depend on peace).
🏈 Sports
In Monday's game at Coors Field, rookie Troy Johnston pitched the ninth inning for the Rockies when catcher Brett Sullivan was unavailable, and he celebrated a scoreless inning by having first baseman TJ Rumfield flip him a souvenir baseball (a quirky debut moment).
