- ➤ Cables Pub and Grill in Greeley announced today that it will close after more than 50 years at its 59th Avenue and 20th Street location—its legacy impacted by owner Keith Johnson’s passing in 2020. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Greeley-Evans School District 6 Board of Education approved a resolution to move forward with planning for the Downtown Civic Campus on Monday—staff will now work to finalize agreements for a new administration building that replaces the outdated 1956 facility at 1025 9th Ave. 1310 KFKA
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Broncos will not let most of their starters play in tomorrow’s preseason game against the Cardinals—Coach Sean Payton said five or six players on an eight-play pitch count will get limited snaps as they test progress before playing in New Orleans. - ➤ OLB Nik Bonitto had a foot procedure for a bone spur and will return to practice next week while Coach Sean Payton said TE Nate Adkins had a tightrope procedure on an ankle sprain and will miss some early games this season.
