Good morning, Greeley.

Last week’s rain improved drought conditions in Larimer and Weld counties and made parts of the Front Range drought free—Denver, Douglas and Arapahoe counties now have better water access.

However, Mesa, Delta and Montrose counties on the Western Slope remain under extreme drought—rainfall so far is only half the usual amount for early June.

This week's U.S. Drought Monitor shows welcome news as much-needed moisture last week eased drought in northern Colorado—especially across Larimer and Weld counties—improving conditions for the region.
